REPORTS TO               Associate Executive Director

LOCATION                   2215 N. Broadway St. Suite 2 Santa Ana, Ca. 9270

Job Summary

The Director of Development’s primary responsibility is establishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow the organization’s budget through the solicitation of major gifts, federal and state grants, special events, and corporate and foundation support.  They will expand and diversify Project Kinship’s donor base/pipeline and work closely with other team members to secure funding for new initiatives

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid California Driver’s License and transportation to travel to meetings, conferences and trainings.
  • Three to five years of managing high-level, strategic donor relationships is preferred. experience in corporate sales and/or a marketing role generating new revenue will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated success in securing major gifts from individual donors, churches and corporations.
