The Associate Vice President provides a significant role in the leadership and management of the Development team, with a particular focus on leading the Individual Giving team to successfully reach their individual and collective goals. The Associate Vice President will provide strategic vision to the Individual Giving team and help mentor the staff in best practices to grow the Center’s major gift pipeline and effectively move donors through the cultivation process toward solicitation, including donor stewardship, prospect analysis, moves management and the oversight of recognition and cultivation events for Individual Giving donors.
Additionally, the Associate Vice President will oversee Development Operations and Prospect Research for the department, working toward centralizing processes and enhancing efficiencies in gift processing, database management, stewardship and donor relations.
A primary responsibility for the Associate Vice President is to personally identify, cultivate and secure major gifts of $25,000+ from individuals for the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund currently exceeds $10 million, with the objective of growing to $13 million within the next five years.
