 Santa Margarita Catholic High School is accepting applications for the position of Advancement Coordinator.

Job Summary

The Advancement Coordinator is full-time position responsible for the accurate input of constituent and gift information. This individual must provide excellent customer service to all constituents, be a team player and will provide support of the school’s Advancement programs and events

 Responsibilities will include:

Database Responsibilities:

Maintain the accuracy and integrity of constituent records in Raiser’s Edge ensuring all gift entry and acknowledgements are produced in a timely manner along with accurately entering and updating biographical information. 

Create and run queries, reports and mailing lists from Raiser’s Edge as directed by supervisor.

Coordinate and oversee designated benefits for school wide naming and sponsorships and other stewardship of gifts as needed.

Event/Scholarship Responsibilities:

Assist in preparation and staff all special events including fundraising, alumni, stewardship and appreciation events.

 Proficiency in event auction software to coordinate auction item and guest information input.

Oversee event finance room and event purchase entry to prepare invoices.

 Import of all gift-in-kind items into Raiser’s Edge for proper event acknowledgements.

Coordinates scholarship information for students and track all scholarship applications.

General Advancement Office Responsibilities:

Prepare gift proposals and other materials for gift solicitation meetings.

Process and track all Fundraising Request forms.

Perform clerical duties including receive incoming calls and messages, welcome visitors, photocopying, making follow-up phone calls, maintaining department supplies as well as maintaining office appearance/organization and department calendar.

Prepare deposit forms and purchase order requests as well as department transfer requests.

Coordinate volunteers for office assistance and events.

Coordinator committee meetings by securing location, reminders, and gathering materials such as nametags, agendas and handouts.

 Qualifications or Requirements:

Advancement experience preferred. Experience with Raiser’s Edge fund-raising software program preferred.  Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills. Highly motivated self-starter and team player; proficient with Microsoft Windows & Office Software; attention to detail and accuracy.
